Hi! I'm Cameron, and I am looking forward to meeting you.
I am not a neutral, "blank-faced" therapist. Instead, I work in a way that is whole-hearted, fully engaged, and collaborative. I became a therapist because I am fascinated by the human psyche, and am passionate about supporting the individual human journey, in all of its complexity. At the core of my work is a profound respect for every individual's authentic life path.
I treat therapy as an opportunity to listen deeply to your whole self. We start exactly where you are, engaging with whatever is present for you -- your struggles, experiences, concerns, desires, and dreams. Together, we work to understand your symptoms, reconnect with what is true to you, and find the way forward.
Not only does this process strengthen your relationship with your self, it can alleviate symptoms, and infuse life with a sense of wholeness and meaning.
I created HearthStone Counseling to be a safe place in which you can explore your own, unique path through life. I am an LPC licensed in Oregon. I have a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
